The Founder

Built by someone who understands both worlds.

Tim Fagan comes from a family of wealth management entrepreneurs. With successful independent financial advisors on both sides of his family, he grew up immersed in the business — learning how practices are built, how clients are won, and how poorly the industry is served by its marketing tools.

Before founding Capital Turbine, Tim spent nine years in advertising technology, leading revenue strategy and operations at multiple firms generating over $500M in combined annual revenue. He's built forecasting systems, sales organizations, and operational infrastructure across the ad tech stack — from ad networks to DSPs to performance agencies.

Those years also set his bar for software. RevOps people are some of the pickiest software users anywhere, yet the tools they rely on routinely earn satisfaction scores in the 90s. People are real fans of the products they use every day. Tim holds Capital Turbine to that bar: a platform advisors genuinely love, not one they settle for because everything else looks the same.

The big marketing platforms are built by SaaS generalists. Capital Turbine is built by someone who grew up around wealth management and spent a career in advertising technology.
